Prism started the way most useful tools do: with a bill that didn't make sense. OpenAI charged the card directly. Anthropic auto-recharged a balance. Vercel billed a GitHub org under a different email. Three subscriptions from tools we'd stopped using months earlier were still quietly renewing. Reconstructing one month of dev spend meant an afternoon across a dozen dashboards and an inbox search.
So we built the thing we wanted: connect read-only API keys, scan the inbox for invoices, and see the whole stack — per-model AI costs next to every SaaS renewal — in one place that notices problems before the statement does.
